Forecast: A very strong ridge of high pressure will form over Southern California starting Thursday … peaking over the weekend and fading after Monday. Very high temperatures well above the normal will accompany it … with 103-108 inland, 100 in the basins, 115+ for the Coachella Valley and Low Deserts … and 103-108 for the High Desert. After Monday, onshore flow will start to kick in, leaving for a cooling trend over this next week.
