Issued Zones: Los Angeles Basin/Valley … The Inland Empire … Los Angeles/San Bernardino/Riverside Mountains … Northern OC Basin to OC Foothills/Santa Ana Mountains … Extreme Eastern Ventura County Basin …
Site: SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Weather Advisory effective today …
Date: 10/19/15 at 8:10am PT
Forecast: A secondary impulse will move through the region today. Some widely isolated showers were roaming the advisory zone … however as daytime heating moves about along with the upper divergence profiles on the rise. .. scattered showers will be possible from the LA Basin/Valley into Northern OC and east to the Inland Empire … with upslope activity (Northern Valleys) being stronger.
Due to the instability and divergence within the region … I cannot rule out thunderstorm activity within the advisory zones, especially near the foothill/mountain areas and local valley convergence zones.
10 mile rule: These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for. You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
Forecaster: KM
