Issued Zones:  All deserts … LA/SBD/RIV/SD Mountains …

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Wind Advisory effective today through Tuesday morning …

Date:  11/8/15 at 10:15am PT

Forecast: A front moving through the area will generate wind gusts in excess of 30-45 mph in the advisory area, with higher gusts on the eastern slopes of the SBD/RIV/SD/KERN Mountain areas.  The winds will start today, but peak on Monday into Monday night with a passing cold front.

There are indications that a secondary storm front may have a deep enough moisture column to bring precipitation to even the High Desert zones.

For the San Bernardino Mountains however, the snow level overnight on Monday into Tuesday morning sunrise will be around 6,200 feet and thus if precipitation remains possible, you’ll be issued a Winter Weather Advisory

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.

Forecaster: KM
