Forecast: A frontal zone will move through the region this morning/afternoon and start the snow level off at 7,000 feet … dropping below 5,000 feet by the evening and below 4,000 feet overnight. Mainly light/moderate snow is possible with it at all these levels, however an increase in snow and win is likely overnight with the strong west-northwest flow in the low levels for these zones … Bringing the snow level and intensity down into the Gorman Pass.
Snowfall accumulations will be 4″ in the lower elevations, however 6-10″ in some areas will be possible, with high amounts on the Gorman Pass being projected.
The event will end through the morning on Monday.
