The Earthquake Advisory that was issued by the government expires today. Hearing that some places are closed because there will be a big earthquake today and while you cannot predict by the day that one will happen, I am going to say right out that it will not happen today and that the chances have diminished .. it keep it clear this window was not my advisory and the rupture window is likely the next 0-2 years.
Just like JPL’s El Nino warning for Southern California having a lot of flooding last season … USGS is going to follow suit by predicting the big one and having people not trust them again. One thing you must know is that earthquakes cannot be predicted by the day … only their locations for future ruptures can be predicted.
The Big One will start in the Southern San Andreas Fault areas by the Salton Sea … but predicting the exact day just is not possible yet and never was. Frankly I’m surprised they went with scaring the heck out of the public on something that cannot be predicted with our current technology.
The swarm in the Salton Sea is what triggered an alarm … but why? I saw a larger magnitude earthquake and then the smaller ones surrounded that. Those smaller ones proceeded a larger one … called aftershocks. There was no evidence that a larger earthquake would hit because aftershocks are common after a larger main-shock. So for the USGS to scare the heck out of the people over aftershocks with no scientific backing was in my opinion poor for their future in trying to predict them.
Now back to my articles. Nowhere did it say I predicted it this week … but I am saying my work is telling me that from now through 2018 is going to be the stress point for a rupture down on the Southern San Andreas Fault. This last popper down there with the swarm does not satisfy the prediction I made in June of this year, 2016 … but it does make me question whether it released some stress for the Big One or locked it up more so it will rupture soon. A reason in June 2016 my target was that area …
The bottom line is this … Those aftershocks are calming down … and the area will be quiet again soon. We will not be seeing The Big One from that main and aftershock sequence … but the window through 2018 remains.
ALWAYS BE PREPARED FOR A QUAKE JUST IN-CASE … THERE IS ZERO REASON NOT TO BE …[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_facebook type=”button_count”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
