Issued Zones: Kern County Mountains … Gorman Pass
Site: Southern California Weather Force has issued a Winter Weather Advisory effective this evening through Friday morning …
Date: 1/16/20 at 11:20am PT
Forecast: A cold front is expected to hit the region this evening through Friday morning. I call this a night-owl front as the worst is when most go to bed and it will be gone by the morning. 2-6″ of snowfall is expected in areas like PMC/Cuddy Valley, Tehachapi, and even along Highway 178 west of Lake Isabella. The snow model below can be used for this event – Note the Gorman Pass does have a trace to 2″ of snow so it is not a major event up there.
