Back in January of 2022 (this year) I missed the press release that NOAA will be splitting the zones for alerts/forecast for Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo County.  This split is almost identical to the Southern California Weather Force zones, split many years ago so let this article be the first staple in this project protecting the work done and educating others where these ideas originated from and grab SEO for Google so read on for details …

To say I am upset is an understatement.  It is time for me to start protecting my work as I am tired of being kicked around with no credit given by anyone in this field.  This last one was the straw.  I own Thunderstorm Watch, Martin Storm Pattern, Martin Storm Diamond, Southern California Weather Force, and many other terms and graphics.  I will need a Wikipedia.com article written about Southern California Weather Force and will work with the authors to get the right stuff in.  This is the only way to protect years of hard work against those who are taking from me.  If you would like to help write this article, contact me on the Facebook Link above.

Over the years the IP address 104.117.232.13 has been noted almost daily on the websites.  This is NOAA’s IP address as I reverse traced it.   The newest stolen stuff from me that they have done is splitting the zones.  Their reasoning was simply why I came up with it long ago and that is because our region has the most micro-climates out of anywhere in the country.  You can go 5 miles away and see different weather patterns when a storm comes in or when the Santa Ana Winds strike.

First I will show you the official SCWF zones for LA, VT, SBA, and SLO County.

Now these are theirs.  The TOP one is the old one and the BOTTOM one is the new one.  You can note they split LAX from Los Angeles, Ventura from Camarillo, and a bunch of micro-climates for San Luis Obispo County.  It is only a matter of time before they rip the Gorman Pass separate from Acton and maybe even split the Antelope Valley.

The point I am making is I will defend my hard work over them stealing from me for as long as I am in operation.

So now you know where the zone ideas of the future have come from in this region … Not a government agency, but me, a private weather office –  

LONG RANGE:  After this, we do not look to be done yet.  The active jet stream looks to be in place for yet another system around April 5th.  Strength and track unknown at the moment, but values indicate a system moving into the state then.

Southern California Weather Force is a custom weather alert service that began in September 1999 off and is regarded as the most accurate weather service in the region, offering custom alerts, maps, and models to help save life and property.  The work done here is never 100% accurate, but it comes pretty close.  Southern California Weather Force runs on zones, so if an event happens in a zone that is 10 miles from the border of your zone, the forecast is still valid to activate your zone’s alert system.  A company quote to the public is that of “The Joker” and tells other agencies in weather this all the time… “This world deserves a better class of meteorologist… and I’m gonna give it to them”… out-forecasting even the National Weather Service with lead-time and precision, which makes this service a focus of ridicule and envy in the weather community due to having such accuracy. You may not even hear it elsewhere, but if one is issued near or in your area, listen up because “if you do not wish to die in weather, follow, it’ll save your life one day.”

Master Meteorologist – is a consulting meteorologist for over 50 different companies, including energy, agriculture, aviation, marine, leisure, and many more areas. He has certs from Mississippi State for broadcast met and Penn State forecasting certs MET 101, 241, 341 and 361 as a meteorologist, but before then was completely self taught, barely learning a thing from the schools that he did not already know.

NOTE: Alerts are posted on here, be it a tornado watch, etc, and these alerts are issued from this office and nowhere else. At times, which is often, you will see an alert forecast posted on here that you do not see elsewhere. That is fine, the track record of the main office is very high so maintain to follow an event when posted.
