Forecast: An upper-level low pressure center directly overhead will retrograde westward through today, bringing in an east to west across the High Desert/Kern/Antelope Valley/Gorman zones.
Showers and Thunderstorms will be likely within the advisory zones. Due to the arc of storms expected, there is a chance that these will leak off the Tehachapi Mountains and over into the Bakersfield forecast zones this evening for some activity there.
