As stated in previous posts, Southern California Weather Force was watching a storm system that would affect the responsible forecast area, and that will hit Monday into Tuesday.
An upper-level low will start bringing heavy rain into the targeted forecast regions by Monday, and last into Tuesday. There will be no snow with it as it originates from the tropics, considered more of a tail-end Charlie from the ‘bomb cyclone’ that hit further north. Basically, it means heavy rain and flooding for the northwest forecast zones and drier in areas like San Diego, and especially drier in the desert zones of Imperial and Palm Springs etc, but will have rain in the Kern Deserts, Antelope Valley, and Hesperia/AV.
Without repeating myself, below are the zoom-in images of the expected rainfall amounts for Monday into Tuesday, November 25-26-2024 …
